Welcome to MVParents.com! We've made some major changes, so we've created this tour to help you find your way around the site.

The Homepage
	Our new homepage is designed to help you find what you're looking for. Whether you've come to look for information regarding a specific issue, or just to look around, this page will help you get there. In the middle of the page you'll find our featured content. These are articles or tools that we think you'll find helpful. We update these regularly with new content, so check back often to see what we've been up to!
	At the top of the page, you'll find the top navigation bar, your gateway to all of the information on MVParents.com. Visit Why MVParents Works to learn about the research foundation of our site, or use Everyday Parenting, Discipline & Values, Time Together, or High-Risk Behaviors to find information on the topic that you're looking for. Each tab contains simple, practical advice on dealing with specific situations that you may encounter while on your parenting journey. If you'd like to browse information by your child's age, use the Ages & Stages tab.
	The top navigation bar also contains the Resources and Community tabs. In our Resources section, you'll find downloadable tools, e-cards for encouraging other parents and teachers, tip of the day archives, activity ideas, conversation starters, our bi-weekly newsletter, and the MVParents store. Under the Community tab, you'll find several ways to interact with MVParents as well as make connections with other parents around the country and around the world. In the discussion forum, you can connect with other parents--ask questions, offer advice, discuss parenting strategies, or just see what others are saying! You can also share your story with us--let us know if our advice helped you get through a tough situation, or if you found a really effective method for dealing with a particular situation. And if there's something you'd like to see on the site, suggest a topic!
	At the bottom of the homepage, you'll find several other tools to help you find the information you're looking for. MVParents for You has tips for parents, parenting groups, teachers, and other caring adults on how to use the site. Are you looking for videos? Quizzes? Downloads? Use the Browse by Format box to explore just the parts of our site that you want to see. You'll also see the Tip of the Day, a featured resource, and our Activity Generator. If you're looking for simple, useful ideas, this is a great place to start!
Article Pages
	At the heart of MVParents.com lies the article pages. It's on these pages that you'll find the parenting advice, tips, and strategies that you're looking for. We've completely restructured these pages to make them more useful and easier for you to use. On the left side of the page is the left navigation bar. In the left bar, you'll see all of the articles contained in the particular topic you're viewing (the article that you're currently reading is indicated by a white notch in the bar). Also contained in the navigation bar are all of the topics in the section. By clicking between topics and articles, you can easily navigate all of the articles within any given section.
	On the right side of every article page is the "Your Turn" box. This box contains several buttons that allow you to interact with the article--you can share your story with us, bookmark the article (in your browser or through a social bookmarking site), print the article or the entire section, suggest a new topic, rate and review the article, or e-mail the article to a friend.
	At the bottom of every article page, you'll find links to the other articles in the topic and another "Your Turn" box.
Finding Your Way Around
	There's a lot of information on MVParents.com, so we've made it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. First, start with the top navigation bar. Under the Why MVParents Works, Everyday Parenting, Discipline & Values, Time Together, High-Risk Behaviors, and Ages & Stages tabs, you'll find all of the articles on MVParents.com. If you know what you're looking for, this is the best way to find it.
	If you're not sure which topic might contain the information you're looking for, you can enter a few words into the search bar in the top-right corner of every page. You can also view the most popular terms on our site by mousing over "Most Popular Terms" below the search box.
	The tag cloud at the bottom of every page can also be helpful in finding the information you're looking for. The cloud is a representation of the most popular content on MVParents.com--the larger the word, the more information we have on the topic. If you're not exactly sure what you're looking for, you can use the tag cloud to see what we have to offer.
